The IVNTA is a federation of professional national associations rather than individual members. If you belong to a member organisation (see list) you will automatically be represented on the IVNTA.

To apply for membership please complete the appropriate membership form and send it to the IVNTA secretary general at ivnta@ivnta.org

Application for permanent membership of the IVNTA

In order to be considered, an application must be:

Category One: From a national veterinary nursing / technician association.

Or,

Category Two: Approved by the governing veterinary body of that country. (This shall be considered only where a country is not able to apply for membership under category one).

Or,

Category Three: Approved by the veterinary nurse / technician training institute where the applicant is employed. (This shall be considered only where a country is not able to apply for membership under category one or two).

Or,

Category Four: Approved by the veterinary clinic where the applicant is employed. (This shall be considered only where a country is not able to apply for membership under category one, two or three).

Or,

Category Five: Submitted by an individual holding a recognised veterinary nurse / technician qualification. (This shall be considered only where an individual is not able to apply for membership under any other category).

If membership is granted under any category that member may be required to provide an annual report to the IVNTA
